Jiffy Lube TechnicianMechanics perform our Signature Service Oil Change, routine preventative maintenance, vehicle diagnostics, general repair services, brake services, tire replacement, etc. This is an important job in our Jiffy Lube stores and critical to our success. Every J-Team member receives comprehensive training from Jiffy Lube University, our award-winning ASE-certified training program. We can train any skill level as long as you are good at working with your hands.Previous experience is preferred, with a minimum of 1 year working for a dealership, automotive shop, tire center, or quick lube. ASE certification is a plus.Perform Jiffy Lube Signature Service oil changeInspect and service fluids, filters, lights, wipers, tires, and other minor servicesTest, diagnose, and repair brakes, ABS systems, shocks/suspensions, alternators, starters, sensors, spark plugs, tires, cooling system, A/C repair, and light engine repair.Once you've become certified within our training programs, you will be eligible for advancement opportunities and training in other positions [Certified Technician, Service Advisor and/or Management].Must be able to operate equipment such as overhead and floor-mounted oil and grease guns, vehicle lift controls, impact wrenches, transmission machine, air conditioner service machine, radiator service machine, hand tools and basic shop equipmentMust be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 poundsMust be able to push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, and turn head-neck-shoulders as neededWork schedule10 hour shiftWeekend availability8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental payCommission payBenefitsFlexible schedulePaid time offHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurance401(k) matchingEmployee discountPaid trainingDisability insuranceReferral program
