Job Description - Hospice STNA - Columbus, OH - PRN (2392384) Hospice STNA - Columbus, OH - PRN - 2392384 As the Home and Community Bases Services Aide, you will provide support, assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for an individual to be able to remain in their own home. Current Ohio STNA certification is required. Standard business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. Travel required within a 50-mile service radius to provide patient care Candidates must have Home-Based Hospice experience for this position. Primary Responsibilities: Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualification: Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation State-Specific Requirements: (remove as applicable) Category I and II- Home Health Aide- Medicare Certified Home Health Provider OH: No Additional Requirements Category III and IV: OH: Must have successfully completed an approved Ohio Department of Health State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) training program and competency, OR meet the qualifications to be Medicare Certified Home Health Aide, OR have at least one (1) year supervised employment experience as a Home Health Aide or Nurse Aide and has successfully completed a competency evaluation, OR has successfully completed a Council on Aging Learning Advantages (COALA) Home Health training program, a certified vocational or other sixty (60) hour training and competency evaluation program that meets the requirements listed in rule 173-39- 02.11(C)(3)(a)(v)(b) Preferred Qualification: Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire 6+ months of home care experience Ability to work flexible hours and independently Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
