Per Diem Vascular Sonographer

Job Summary Under the general supervision of the Lead Vascular Technologist, you will perform various types of non‑invasive vascular testing. You must have knowledge of regulations governing vascular technology and operate within the legal boundaries of vascular technology practice in an IAC accredited laboratory. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 1‑2 years of vascular technologist experience. Ability to perform all vascular modalities. Excellent verbal, written, communication, customer service and organizational skills. Completion of an accredited ultrasound school focused on vascular technology or an on‑site apprenticeship with a vascular laboratory. Registered RVT (ARDMS) or RVS from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or CRV (CARDUP – Canadian equivalent). Age‑specific criterion: ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all ages served within the scope of the position. Knowledge of regulations governing vascular technology and the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to health and safety. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Previous experience with Cerner. Experience with Custom Lab (software for IAC Accreditation). Physical Demands Use hands to control objects, tools, or controls; stand or sit for long periods; repeat movements; remain on feet for long periods; bend or twist; hold arms and hands; make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls; use fingers or hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects; move multiple limbs together; speak clearly; use stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods without fatigue. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $33.82–$52.24 per hour. Compensation will be based on experience, skill set, and education.
