Duties and Responsibilities

Structural/Site Analysis and Design: Performs structural and site analysis and design assignments under the direction of a Supervisor or Project Manager, following accepted engineering practices and completing tasks in a timely manner.

AutoCAD and Revit: Creates, edits, and updates drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software.

Drawing Review: Reviews personal work for accuracy and performs shop drawing reviews as requested.

Field Work: Visits project sites to take measurements, observe existing conditions, and perform construction observation to verify compliance with design documents when appropriate.

Client/Consultant Contact: Communicates with clients or consultants as needed to complete assignments or respond to technical questions.

Supervision: While not a supervisory role, the Staff Engineer may review work performed by others at their direction to ensure quality control.

Qualifications

• 5 years of engineering experience required
• BSCE or MSCE from an accredited engineering university
• Must have, or be actively pursuing, Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) Certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• AutoCAD and Revit experience preferred
