Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

We are seeking a skilled and flexible Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room, specializing in various surgical procedures. This position requires experience in a Level 1 trauma center and the ability to manage both circulating and scrubbing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room for surgical procedures by ensuring the availability of necessary instruments and equipment.
• Assist in positioning and draping of patients for surgery.
• Manage surgical instruments and maintain sterile technique during operations.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
• Utilize EPIC software for patient documentation and data management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room.
• Experience in various surgical specialties including orthopedic, urology, oncology, Da Vinci Robotics, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastic surgery, neuro, cardiovascular, and trauma.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Recent experience with EPIC is mandatory within the last 2 years.

Schedule

This position involves 12-hour night shifts, with a requirement for weekend work and on-call duties. Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
