Laundry Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Supervisor to oversee the laundry operations at our property. This role is vital in ensuring the consistent supply of clean, high-quality linens that meet our standards for guest comfort and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise all stages of linen processing, including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading, and unloading washers, dryers, and chutes

- Oversee ironing, folding, storing, and delivering linens to ensure timely and accurate service

- Monitor and maintain laundry machinery, including cleaning and routine maintenance

- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote safety and efficiency

- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to meet linen supply needs

- Train and supervise laundry staff to uphold quality standards and safety procedures

- Maintain inventory levels of laundry supplies and equipment

- Implement and enforce safety and sanitation standards in the laundry area

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in laundry operations or supervisory roles within hospitality or similar industries

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Ability to operate and maintain laundry machinery effectively

- Excellent leadership and team management abilities

- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations related to laundry operations

Requirements
