We're hiring for a hybrid role. You'll work on-site with your team several days each week (typically 2–3), with the specific days set by your manager. Because regular in-person collaboration is central to this job, we look for candidates who live within about 50 miles of the office.

About the role: The Director of Demand Generation leads the strategy, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that build awareness, engage priority audiences, generate qualified demand, and fuel pipeline growth across Everfox's target markets. This leader translates Everfox's corporate and solution‑level priorities into coordinated, multi‑channel demand programs spanning digital, email, content, social, events, account‑based marketing, partners, and additional channels.

The Director partners closely with Solution Marketing, Content, Brand, Field Marketing, Sales Leadership, Inside Sales, and Marketing Operations to engage target buyers throughout the buying journey and deliver measurable business impact. This role requires strategic thinking paired with hands‑on execution, balancing discipline, creativity, and analytical rigor to build a scalable demand generation engine.

Location: Herndon, VA, USA (Hybrid, 2-3 days per week)

Key Partnerships

• Solution Marketing: Defines markets, audiences, positioning, solution priorities, and value differentiation.

• Content & Brand Engagement: Develops content and audience engagement programs that fuel campaigns.

• Brand & Creative: Ensures creative standards and campaign experience align with Everfox's brand.

• Marketing Operations & Analytics: Owns automation, attribution, HubSpot/Salesforce workflows, data, and reporting.

• Field/Regional Marketing: Activates/adapts campaigns for regional audiences and market needs.

• Sales Leadership & Sales: Align demand generation priorities with account priorities, pipeline needs, sales capacity, and feedback.

Key Knowledge and Skills

• Expertise in integrated campaign strategy, multi-channel demand generation, and account-based marketing.

• Strong analytical skills with deep experience in performance measurement, attribution, and ROI optimization.

• Capable of translating solution positioning and market insights into compelling demand programs.

• Skilled in multi-channel activation across digital, email, web, social, events, webinars, partners, and field channels.

• Proven cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product, Content, and Operations teams.

• Strong leadership skills and experience coaching, mentoring, and building team capability.

• Ability to develop disciplined planning processes, operating rhythms, and executive-level reporting.

Key Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

• Significant experience leading demand generation, integrated marketing, and pipeline-driving B2B programs, ideally in cybersecurity, technology, or government-focused industries.

• Qualified demand and pipeline contribution.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:

$181,000.00-229,300.00 USD

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
