Supervisor Care Coordinator PetVet Care Centers' Memphis Veterinary Specialists & Emergency is currently seeking a Supervisor Care Coordinator to join their team! With more than 420 locally led hospitals and over 11,000 team members nationwide , we offer: Local autonomy with national support Career mobility and development opportunities A collaborative, inclusive environment where your well‑being comes first Essential Functions Supervise care coordinators, including hiring, firing, and evaluating performance, reviewing time reporting, enforcing company policies and communicating new practices and policies regarding reception duties Schedule care coordinators according to staffing needs, serving as a care coordinator, as needed Receive client complaints and concerns regarding reception, escalating issues to Hospital Manager, as needed Maintain specialist (non‑emergency doctors) scheduling information and changes Count cash and/or balance daily transactions, balance cash drawer and make change, as needed Process refunds, returns, and credits, as needed by location Organize and process all payment plans and held checks, as needed by location, obtaining approvals as necessary Bi‑monthly billing statements and collections as well as end‑of‑month closing reports, as required by location Serve as back‑up to Hospital Manager for maintenance or building issue resolution Other duties as assigned by Manager Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year customer service experience At least 1 year veterinary medical receptionist experience preferred Knowledge of veterinary environment, terminology, and protocols Experience working in a team environment Strong customer service skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities Familiarity with multi‑line telephone systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Supervisory and staff scheduling skillsBasic math skills Proper handling and accounting for cash and client payments Good interpersonal skills Schedule: 5 days per week, possible rotating schedule. Some night and weekend shifts are required.
