Maintenance Technician

Location: Denver, CO

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Pay: $35-$41/hour + Overtime

A growing manufacturing facility in Denver is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations on a newly established 2nd shift. This role is ideal for a well-rounded technician who can work independently, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and perform both preventative and reactive maintenance in a fast-paced production environment.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in minimizing downtime, maximizing equipment efficiency, and supporting a rapidly expanding operation.

2nd Shift

• Monday - Thursday
• 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM
• Overtime available as needed

• Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, belts, chains, gearboxes, valves, fillers, labelers, and sorting equipment.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot photo-eye sensors and 480V three-phase electrical systems.
• Assist with PLC troubleshooting and equipment diagnostics.
• Maintain facility systems including compressors, boilers, chillers, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Complete inspections, repairs, and maintenance documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability efforts.
• Work independently while ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.

• Strong understanding of mechanical theory and industrial maintenance processes.
• Experience performing preventative and reactive maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Motors, drives, belts, chains, and gearboxes
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • 480V three-phase systems
  • PLC-controlled equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience in food and beverage manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMP or FDA-regulated environments.
• Experience supporting high-speed production equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
