Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant II for a travel assignment in Raleigh, NC. This role requires recent ObGyn experience and involves supporting healthcare providers by performing a variety of clinical and administrative duties in a dynamic work environment.

- Perform rooming/intake process, capturing vital signs and patient data
- Collect patient and family medical and social histories
- Review patient's current medication list and allergies
- Assist providers during treatments, examinations, and procedures
- Collect specimens and perform phlebotomy
- Administer medications under provider direction
- Conduct tests such as EKGs under provider supervision
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked and prepped for patient visits
- Provide post-visit care instructions to patients
- Prepare, clean, and maintain exam and treatment rooms
- Perform sterilization of instruments
- Assist with patient registration and appointment scheduling
- Handle clinic telephone inquiries as guided by providers
- Assist in emergency situations under provider direction
- Precept new hires and train medical assistants
- Manage clinic supply ordering
- Medical Assistant certification (AAMA, AMT, CCMA, NRCMA, or NCMA)
- Basic Life Support Certification (AHA or ARC) required
- Minimum one year of full-time experience as a Certified Medical Assistant
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
