Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Jasper, TN. This position is responsible for welding and assembling metal components according to specifications and blueprints. The ideal candidate has experience working with steel, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to produce high-quality welds in a fast-paced fabrication environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on steel and other metals
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces
- Inspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and accuracy
- Operate welding equipment and related tools safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- 1–3+ years of welding experience preferred
- Experience with MIG welding required (TIG a plus)
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Knowledge of welding techniques and safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, and work for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled environment
