Phlebotomist-Boca Raton

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for a Patient Service Center in Boca Raton, working 30 hours weekly. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, and providing customer service in a diagnostic laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
• Process billing information and collect patient payments when required
• Provide superior customer service and perform administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Three months phlebotomy experience or current certification
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Valid reliable transportation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in team environments
