CMA Certified Medication Aide PRN

Introduction:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Medication Aide to join our team and provide high-quality care to our patients. The CMA will assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management, and provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Dispense oral, inhalation and topical medications to patients under direct supervision of a licensed nurse unless

otherwise allowed by state law.
• Observe patients for drug reactions and report any problems to the nurses.
• Performing tasks associated with medication administration, including patient vital signs, calculate medication

dosages and stock the medication cart.
• Recording medication administration according to agency procedure
• Assists the nurse in providing care to residents, which includes observation and reporting of resident needs

Assist when needed with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance

Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must have your Certified Nursing Assistant along with your Certified Mediation Assistant License,


Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
