Our client in Wixom, MI is a market leader in automated components and is looking for a dependable Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join their growing team.Pay rate $18.55Day shift. 6 a.m.- Shift ends when production requirement is met.-This is a fast-paced role perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, operating equipment, and keeping production lines moving. This position offers competitive weekly pay, a clean and climate-controlled work environment, and a clear path to direct hire.Key ResponsibilitiesForklift Operation: Safely operate sit-down hi-los and electric pallet jacks to move raw materials, components, and finished products throughout a busy manufacturing facility.Line Replenishment: Deliver specific parts, bins, and hardware to assembly lines just-in-time to ensure production lines never experience downtime.Dunnage Management: Remove empty containers, totes, and pallets from production cells to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work floor.Shipping & Receiving Support: Unload incoming supplier components and stage/load outbound finished products onto freight trucks.Inventory Tracking: Use handheld RF scanners to scan barcodes and log material movements to ensure inventory accuracy.What We Are Looking ForExperience: 1–2 years of experience operating a forklift/hi-lo in a manufacturing, warehouse, or automotive environment.Attitude: A strong work ethic and a "safety-first" mindset.Reliability: Excellent attendance and a history of punctuality are absolute musts for this shift.Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, twist, and sit/stand for extended periods.Requirements: Must pass an on-site practical forklift evaluation and standard pre-employment screening (background check and drug screen).Perks & BenefitsSteady Schedule: Secure 2nd-shift hours with predictable shift differentials.Work Environment: Clean, highly automated, well-lit, and climate-controlled facility.Weekly Pay: Get paid every Friday through our agency.Career Growth: This is a contract-to-hire role designed for candidates looking to prove themselves and convert to a permanent employee with full corporate benefits.\nCompany DescriptionPrideStaff can offer you a wide range of rewarding career options.
