Take the next step in your career supporting students as a dedicated classroom paraprofessional for the full 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract role offers two potential placements: working in a 3rd grade or an 8th grade classroom. As a paraprofessional, you'll play a meaningful part in enhancing the daily educational experience for students, including those receiving special education services.

In this position, your day will be varied and rewarding. You'll work closely with teachers and students, spending time in special education classrooms and accompanying students to their general education classes to provide seamless support. Additionally, you'll assist with important daily routines, such as lunch and bus duties, helping to ensure the safety and well-being of all students throughout the school day.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is highly desired
• Familiarity with both primary and middle school environments is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Ability to assist with small group instruction and adapt to dynamic classroom situations
• High school diploma or equivalent required; paraprofessional certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students individually and in small groups
• Work alongside special education and general education teachers to implement individualized learning strategies
• Support student engagement during lessons, activities, and transitions between classrooms
• Assist with lunch and bus supervision to ensure student safety and compliance with school guidelines
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
