Make an impact in the lives of young students by serving as a School Psychologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, contract opportunity allows you to work with an elementary caseload, supporting learners during crucial stages of development. Located near West Chicago, IL, this position offers meaningful daily interactions and the chance to foster both academic and personal growth for students.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist licensure in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators
- Familiarity with special education processes, IEP development, and Response to Intervention (RTI) practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer educational and psychological assessments for elementary students
- Participate in team meetings to determine eligibility, develop IEPs, and plan interventions
- Provide direct counseling services and social-emotional support to students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to promote positive student outcomes
- Consult with staff on academic and behavioral interventions
- Assist in developing data-driven solutions to improve school climate and student well-being
