Night Service Manager

The starting pay range for this position per hour is $23.00 - $25.00. The full pay range for this position per hour is $23.00 - $39.10. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including labor markets, education, work experience and certifications. Responsibilities Ensure that every team member understands and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and operations. Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take action to improve, and align the team on the right behaviors and execution. Lead a team of Guest Advocates, Service Advocates and Front‑of‑Store Attendants to exceed guest service expectations. Help close skill gaps through development, coaching and team interactions. Plan and execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities, store sales goals, and guest engagement. Support Target Loyalty Programs and educate team members about benefits, features and offerings. Personalize recognition and appreciation of team members to reinforce critical guest service behaviors. Help lead a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management. Respond promptly to guest concerns, de‑escalate situations, and ensure the team resolves issues efficiently. Keep the team updated on upcoming promotions, brand launches and events. Assist with pick‑up and drive‑up orders, including Starbucks, and comply with all relevant laws. Support merchandise protection strategies and safe‑and‑secure training and processes. Occasionally assume store‑level leadership on duty responsibilities during assigned shifts. Address all store emergency and compliance needs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; minimum age 18. Previous retail experience preferred, but not required. Ability to lead, hold others accountable and coach performance. Strong communication skills on multiple frequency devices and with handheld scanners. Work independently and as part of a team; manage workload and prioritize tasks. Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members. Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of cash register operations, cash transactions, and cash office processes. Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds and climb ladders. Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times. Willingness to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and exposure to elements.
