Commercial Plumber

As one of the fastest-growing platforms in our space, we are focused on operational excellence, technical expertise, and building a high-performing team.Plumbers III are responsible for cutting, gluing, welding, and other installation means and methods for piping, fixtures, and other plumbing systems. Ensure quality control is applied & implemented for the operation of all plumbing systems. This position requires travel.Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive)Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure-test all pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, drainage, and gas systems in accordance with specifications and plumbing codes.Determine the sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or per work orders.Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures.Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes, water heaters, water softeners, etc.; install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures, and equipment.Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.Plan, install, and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, equipment, and controls; test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.Receive and complete work orders.Select material and hardware and make time and materials estimates.Maintain accurate records on material and labor used.Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.Work with supervisors to complete projects.Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesLearn quickly and adapt to a variety of technology, tools, instructions, and task methods.Meet deadlines in terms of work assignment schedules.Interact daily in person with other members of the department and school district staff and possess comfortable interpersonal skills and cooperative attitudes.Maintain consistent attendance due to the urgent nature of duties and because the work product of the position is interdependent with that of other staff.Convey an understanding, patient attitude toward others.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required.OSHA 30 Certification required.7 plus years of experience is required.Physical RequirementsRequired to stand, walk, and sit.Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.Corvant is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
