Family Law Attorney

An established and respected mid-sized family law firm in the Longmont, Colorado area is seeking an attorney with at least 2 years of family law experience to join its growing team. This firm is known for prioritizing work-life balance and creating a supportive environment where attorneys can thrive professionally without sacrificing personal time. The firm offers a manageable workload with low billable hour expectations, no excessive after-hours demands, and a collaborative culture.
Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of family law matters from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and related legal documents
- Conduct client consultations and maintain strong client relationships
- Appear in court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
- Manage discovery and case strategy
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff to provide high-quality representation
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the Colorado Bar
- Minimum of 2 years of direct family law experience as an attorney required
- Strong communication, negotiation, and courtroom skills
- Ability to manage cases independently while working within a team-oriented environment
