Payroll Specialist

Description The Payroll Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing the company’s payroll, serving as a key point of contact for employees on payroll-related matters. Duties and responsibilities Communicate professionally and effectively with employees and independent contractors to gather necessary payroll information Calculate wages for both employees and independent contractors Calculate overtime, deductions, and other applicable payroll items Accurately enter payroll information into payroll systems Prepare and process payroll through the designated payroll system Process employee benefits deductions and wage garnishments Respond promptly to payroll-related questions and concerns from employees and management Prepare payroll reports for management as requested Prepare and reconcile payroll schedules to ensure accuracy Assist the Payroll Department with additional tasks and projects as needed Requirements Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required Experience: Prior payroll processing experience strongly preferred Specialized knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex information accurately Demonstrates a high level of efficiency, accuracy, and personal accountability Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with honesty and integrity Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr Emergency Care Partners, LLC
