Job Title: Radiology Technician

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience required.
Trauma facility experience preferred.


License:
Basic Life Support Certification required.


Certifications:
ARRT-R required.


Must-Have:
General X-ray skills, including imaging of head, neck, spine, extremities, abdomen, hands, feet, and chest.
Comfortable working with trauma patients.
C-arm experience required; O-arm experience preferred.
EPIC experience required.
Strong communication skills and a teamwork-oriented attitude.


Description:
The role involves radiology tech work in a high-paced, high-acuity environment.
The average number of patients per day is between 350-400.
The facility has multiple X-ray suites, including areas for routine and emergency use.
The job includes working with both adult and pediatric patients, including neonates.
The position entails performing various radiology exams and diagnoses across numerous specialties.
The radiology tech will need to be comfortable rotating between different areas, including the emergency department and operating room.
Staff support includes lead technicians and supervisors available 24/7.
There will be opportunities to collaborate with physician residents and fellows.
Team structure consists of multiple radiology techs working varying shifts to ensure continuous coverage.
The department values teamwork and high clinical skill sets.
Technological proficiency with specific imaging equipment is required.
Knowledge of the electronic medical record system is necessary.
No floating to different facilities is expected; duties will be conducted across designated x-ray areas.
