The back of house team member is responsible for supporting all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, sanitation, and stocking. This position requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to providing high-quality food in a safe and clean environment.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Prepare orders according to recipes and standards.
• Work with sharp knives and kitchen tools at a rapid pace.
• Handle cooked meats and hot items (150°f or higher).
• Stock cold and hot products on the serving line as needed.
• Load and unload cooking and baking utensils.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment at all times.
• Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Adhere to all company food safety, health, and sanitation policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or general manager.

Requirements include:

• Must be at least 18 years of age (in compliance with labor laws).
• Previous foodservice or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow directions, work as part of a team, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Strong commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and quality.

Physical and environmental requirements include:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk, stand, and move for the majority of the shift.
• Ability to work in a hot environment around ovens, smokers, and grills.
• Manual dexterity to handle knives and cooking equipment safely.
• Ability to bend, reach, and stoop while performing job functions.
