Senior Counsel, Environmental & Energy Affairs (Winthrop)

MWRA seeks a General Counsel to lead legal affairs, providing strategic guidance across environmental, energy, public utility, contract and health and safety law. You will advise the Executive Director and staff, supervise attorneys and support staff, and interact with state and federal regulators to protect public resources.

Based at Deer Island, Winthrop, MA, the role includes drafting and negotiating agreements, interpreting the MWRA Enabling Act, and managing public records responses.
