Paraprofessional – Self-Contained Special Education Classroom

We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year to support students with significant disabilities in a self-contained special education program.

Position Details:

• School Year: August 24, 2026 – June 3, 2027

• Schedule: 7.25-hour workday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom and instructional support to students with autism and other significant disabilities

• Assist students with academic, behavioral, and daily living needs

• Support students with toileting and personal care needs

• Work collaboratively with special education teachers and related service providers

• Help implement behavior support plans and maintain a positive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Experience working with students with autism, behavioral needs, or medically complex needs preferred

• Ability to assist with personal care and toileting

• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

• School-based experience is a plus
