Be the difference.This job performs duties necessary to treat patients in accordance with the physicians' orders and department policy. Performs all procedures under the supervision of a Respiratory Therapist or Respiratory Therapy Technician. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.Performs respiratory therapy procedures in accordance with the physician's order, departmental policy, and the Respiratory Care Guidelines (RT Consult). May not take verbal orders or modify orders.Documents and charges for respiratory care procedures and provides patient and family education as appropriate.Communicates well with supervisors, therapists and technicians. Provides a complete and accurate reportMay perform blood gasses from all sites. Analyzes and reports results accuratelyAdheres to infection control and quality initiatives.
