Job Description:

The Sensor Assembly Machinist will perform tasks that are necessary for the production process. They aid in the fabrication of products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Functions:

· Support assembly, calibration and test of products under the guidance of Assembly lead.

o Assembly of sensors using automated production equipment.

· Follows detailed work instructions and completes production transactions in NetSuite to support inventory accuracy and traceability.

· Load materials, start production runs, monitor equipment operation, identify basic issues or abnormalities and report failures during production to Assembly Lead.

Education:

High School Diploma

Skills required:

· High attention to detail

· Willingness to learn.

· Excellent hand-eye coordination.

· Willing to perform repetitive tasks & standing for extended periods of time.

· Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors.

· Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing policies at all times.

· Basic computer skills and willingness to learn ERP systems.

· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Work environment:

· Manufacturing environment

Must be a US Citizen due to government contracts.
