About the Role

At Allure of Walnut, we're seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Cook to join our Dietary Department. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to create delicious, nutritious meals for our residents in a warm and welcoming environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious, well-balanced meals according to the menu

• Follow recipes, diet orders, and physician-prescribed dietary requirements

• Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness

• Monitor food preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning

• Ensure all state, federal, health, and safety regulations are followed

• Work as part of a team dedicated to providing excellent dining experiences for our residents

Requirements

• Ability to read and follow recipes, diet orders, and work assignments

• Positive attitude and ability to interact respectfully with residents, families, coworkers, and visitors

• General knowledge of long-term care dietary regulations is preferred

• Passion for preparing quality meals with care

Position Details

• Part-Time : Job hours are varied and may include weekends and holidays
