Place and assist in maintaining the most appropriate VAD.Use of ultrasound guidance (USG) in placement of VAD.Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Nursing Process for patients in the following age groups: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics.Documents thoroughly, following regulatory and hospital requirements.Participates in the responsible management of health care resources.Assumes responsibility for clinical competency and professional development.QualificationsJob Requirements:Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho or approved Compact StateCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - must be obtained within 14 days of hirePICC certification must be obtained within 4 months of hireAbility to work varied shiftsEffective Interperonal Communication skills and demonstrated organizational skills.Preferred Requirements:National Certification/Vascular Access Board Certified (VA-BC)
