Headquartered in New York City, Suntory Global Spirits is a subsidiary of Suntory Holdings, which is world renowned for delivering quality and excellence across a range of products and categories.The Chain Merchandising Manager position is great opportunity as it provides the ability to:Collaborate with all levels of Chain & Distributor Merchandising ManagementDevelop and manage your territory as your own businessPeople leadership experience & responsibility: Lead and manage our business through the distributor merchandising sales representatives within your territoryAssist in building distributor goals, incentives, survey runs, execution plans, POS/Footmarks management, presentations for team meetings and large kick-off meetings as well as communicating successRole Responsibilities The Chain Merchandising Manager position is a highly visible role that will be responsible for the following:Communicate and execute Suntory Global Spirits programming in all chainsAssist General Market Merchandisers (when needed) in Key Accounts to further drive the impact of our portfolioWork directly with distributor Area Managers, District Managers and Merchandising RepsHave an active presence in the marketplace and will require an understanding of analytical rigor and true fact-based selling skills to drive share volume growth within all chainsLead team meetings to educate distributor(s) on product and programs, give direction, track monthly goals and display success.Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Work with distributor partners to further their knowledge of the Suntory Global Spirits' portfolioManage key accounts by targeting sales by brand and monitoring executionAssist in overall brand development by identifying new account opportunities and working with distributor partners to executeUtilize market and account knowledge to assist in development of distributor programsMonitor and evaluate program execution within the distributor sales forceConduct sales meetings and product presentations for distributor partnersMaximize display and merchandising opportunitiesKnow features and benefits of our brands as well as competitor brandsDevelop and maintain overall alcohol beverage knowledgeRecognize competitive activity and assess opportunity for the companyManage budgets to maximize effectivenessQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceExperience working with Distributor DMs/MerchandisersMinimum 1-year experience in merchandisingTerritory/merchandising manager in a chain-heavy stateStrong demonstration of selling skillsExcellent presentation skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to travel frequently across the assigned market, periodically outside of marketLifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling of up to 45lbs.Sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stoppingMicrosoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)The salary range for this role is $60,000- $82,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate's location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location. While relocation, immigration, and/or tax compliance support are not guaranteed, we may offer assistance to successful candidates depending on factors such as role requirements in accordance with company guidelines.
