Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Role: A Stepdown RN provides specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units, requiring close monitoring and complex interventions. Responsibilities: Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs administer medications assist with procedures observe and document patient conditions respond to emergencies educate patients on cardiac health collaborate with healthcare teams and ensure safety and confidentiality. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of one year recent experience as a Stepdown RN valid RN license BLS and ACLS certifications Preferred certifications include PCCN and NIHSS Must possess critical thinking excellent communication technical interpersonal and physical abilities to perform tasks effectively under pressure.
