The SIOP Senior Director is a strategic and hands‑on leader responsible for advancing and optimizing the company's Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. While a foundational SIOP process is established, this role will assess current capabilities, identify improvement opportunities, and elevate the organization toward best-in-class planning practices.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of refining SIOP processes, driving cross‑functional alignment, improving forecast accuracy, optimizing inventory, and enhancing operational performance. This leader will leverage Logility as a key planning platform to improve visibility, decision‑making, scenario planning, and overall planning effectiveness. The role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands‑on execution, with the ability to influence change and deliver measurable business results in a dynamic, resource‑conscious environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Includes the following, other duties may be assigned)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and Lead SIOP Strategy – Design, implement, and continuously improve a scalable, data‑driven SIOP framework that aligns demand, supply, and financial objectives. Establish best practices for demand planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain performance.
• Hands‑On Process Development & Execution: Lead the hands‑on execution of SIOP initiatives, working directly with cross‑functional teams to build, refine, and sustain an effective planning process.
• Cross‑Functional Leadership & Collaboration: Act as the bridge between key departments—including sales, merchandising/marketing, finance, operations, and supply chain—to ensure a unified and proactive approach to forecasting, production, and inventory planning. Champion teamwork and alignment to drive business success.
• Drive Data‑Driven Decision Making & Analytics: Leverage advanced analytics, predictive modeling, market insights, and scenario planning to enhance demand accuracy, optimize inventory levels, and mitigate supply chain risks. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Optimize Inventory & Production Planning: Ensure the right products are available at the right time, while minimizing excess inventory and reducing costs. Develop agile and responsive strategies that balance supply with customer demand to drive operational efficiency.
• Supply Chain Performance & Risk Mitigation: Identify and implement strategies to streamline procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution processes. Develop risk mitigation plans to proactively address potential supply chain disruptions.
• Champion Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Lead process enhancements, introduce cutting‑edge technologies, and adopt industry best practices to improve efficiency, scalability, and overall supply chain effectiveness. Champion a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
• Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement: Present insights, recommendations, and strategic plans to executive leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on business objectives and supply chain initiatives. Influence decision‑making at the highest levels to drive sustainable growth and success.
• Optimize and Enhance Existing SIOP Processes: Evaluate and continuously improve the existing SIOP process, identifying opportunities to strengthen planning discipline, improve forecast accuracy, streamline decision‑making, and increase alignment across sales, merchandising, sourcing, operations, and finance.
• Lead Logility Optimization and Adoption: Serve as the organizational leader for Logility planning capabilities. Drive system optimization, user adoption, process integration, forecasting improvements, inventory planning enhancements, reporting, and analytics to maximize business value from the platform.
• Integrated Business Planning Expertise – Deep understanding of Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) and its role in driving business performance, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and financial goals.
• Strategic & Financial Acumen – Ability to connect operational planning with financial objectives, optimizing profitability, working capital, and resource allocation.
• Demand & Supply Planning Mastery – Proficiency in forecasting, demand sensing, and supply planning to drive accuracy, reduce excess inventory, and improve service levels.
• Data-Driven Decision Making – Skilled in leveraging data analytics, predictive modeling, and scenario planning to support business strategy and operational execution.
• Cross‑Functional Leadership – Strong ability to collaborate with sales, finance, supply chain, and operations teams to drive alignment and execution of business plans.
• Problem‑Solving & Critical Thinking – Ability to identify challenges, assess risks, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and operational resilience.
• Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement – Track record of developing and refining SIOP processes, implementing best practices, and driving operational excellence.
• Technology & Systems Expertise – Experience working with SIOP-related software (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle, Anaplan, Kinaxis) to enhance planning accuracy and visibility.
• Change Management & Agility – Ability to navigate a dynamic business environment, lead transformation initiatives, and drive adoption of new planning processes.
• SIOP Process Transformation: Proven experience refining and improving established SIOP/IBP processes, implementing best practices, and driving measurable improvements in planning effectiveness, service levels, inventory management, and financial performance.
• Logility Expertise: Deep hands‑on experience with Logility demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, forecasting, analytics, and scenario planning. Demonstrated success leveraging Logility to improve planning accuracy and business outcomes.
• Operational Excellence in Lean Environments: Ability to prioritize high‑impact initiatives, drive change, and improve planning processes within organizations operating with limited resources.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain, SIOP, demand planning, or operations, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven success assessing, refining, and optimizing existing SIOP/IBP processes or building from the ground up, driving measurable improvements in forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, working capital performance, and cross‑functional alignment.
• Expertise in demand forecasting, inventory management, and production planning, with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional teams across sales, finance, supply chain, and operations to drive alignment and execution.
• Proficiency in data analytics, reporting, SIOP-related software, and data analytics tools for forecasting and scenario planning.
• Strong change management and process improvement experience, with the ability to drive organizational transformation and adoption of new planning methodologies.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with Logility is required. Proven ability to leverage Logility planning tools to improve forecasting, inventory optimization, supply planning, analytics, and executive decision-making. Experience with additional planning platforms is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (MBA or MS) in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline.
• Experience in consumer goods, retail, or manufacturing industries.
• Certification in APICS CPIM, CSCP, or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of AI‑driven forecasting and digital supply chain solutions.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to enhance reporting and decision‑making is a plus.
