Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Public Storage is the self‑storage industry leader and we are hiring now. Earn $17.00 per hour. Benefits Flexible and full‑time schedules between 9:30am and 6pm (weekends until 5pm) Eligible for full‑time benefits after an average of 20+ hours. Benefits include: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, sick time, flex spending Company‑paid life insurance, accidental death insurance, exclusive vendor discounts Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between properties or other work‑related tasks Opportunity to earn performance‑based bonuses Job Description Property managers work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily business Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required Physical Requirements Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds Walk in and around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks: sweeping/mopping interior areas, maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal, keeping them clear of debris Qualifications Experience : Successful candidates come from a variety of customer‑service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service‑based companies. Transportation : Employees must hold a valid driver’s license and use their own vehicle to travel between different work locations or during other work‑related business.
