SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Infection Prevention Specialist is responsible for collaborating to promote, implement, and sustain effective infection prevention and control strategies to reduce healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and ensure patient safety.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S)

Bachelor?s degree in Nursing Two years clinical experience Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact Basic Life Support (BLS)
