Bring your expertise in Occupational Therapy to a vibrant educational setting in the Federal Way area! This full-time, onsite contract position supports a secondary caseload and offers the opportunity to make a difference in students’ lives through hands-on engagement and collaborative teamwork. Working at a well-regarded district in Tacoma, you’ll have the chance to supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and play a vital role in students’ academic journeys. This position is available ASAP and runs through June 23, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Washington OT License required
• Must have fingerprint clearance through OSPI
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy strongly preferred
• Skilled at managing a secondary caseload, providing assessments, direct therapy, and consultative services
• Prior experience supervising a COTA is a plus
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEP goals and maintain accurate documentation
• Ready to work onsite, full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to middle and high school students
• Evaluate students using appropriate assessment tools and develop individualized treatment plans
• Supervise and support the COTA assigned to the caseload
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to foster student success
• Maintain detailed records and document progress in accordance with school and legal requirements
• Contribute to IEP meetings and ongoing student support planning
• Uphold the district's values and policies in all interactions
