Grossing Technician performs accessioning and gross examination of lower complexity surgical specimens under the direction of a Pathologist and/or Pathologists' Assistant. This role is responsible for proper specimen identification, description, dissection, and submission to ensure high-quality tissue preparation for diagnostic evaluation. The position operates within CLIA-88 high complexity testing personnel guidelines and supports efficient laboratory workflow and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• Must meet CLIA-88 requirements for high complexity testing personnel
• 1+ years of healthcare or laboratory-related experience
• Proven solid attention to detail and knowledge of anatomy and specimen handling
• Proven ability to follow complex procedures and maintain specimen integrity
• Proven ability to work in high-volume environment and maintain turnaround times

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in laboratory science or histotechnology
• Additional histology or pathology training
• Experience in surgical specimen grossing
• Experience with LIS systems and specimen photography

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
