General Cardiology Physician (MD/DO) - UNC Specialty Care at Sanford
UNC Specialty Care at Sanford is looking for a Cardiologist (MD/DO). UNC Health Medical Group's goal is to treat our patients like family by providing the highest quality of care and treatment.
Specialty Care at Sanford is community-based, multi-specialty practice. The providers are committed to providing quality and cost-effective medical care to a diverse population of patients with chronic medical conditions and special needs. Our team in Cardiology specializes in the following:
- Non-invasive, general Cardiology
- Participate in the care for patients in an outpatient clinic in conjunction with physicians
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Plan and coordinate follow-up with patients
- Provide routine diagnostic, therapeutic and preventative care
- Educate patients about preventative care, medical issues and use of prescribed medications
- Opportunity for inpatient consultation and stress testing during normal practice hours

Qualifications:
- Medical School Graduate (MD/DO)
- Board certified
- NC State License preferred
- FCVS profile preferred for those without NC license but not required
