Client Relationship Consultant 2 (Banker) - Tahoe City, CA

Job Overview Client Relationship Consultants build and foster relationships with customers across multiple channels— in‑person, by appointment, and virtually— to provide tailored banking counsel while embracing a digital‑first mindset. Key Responsibilities Engage customers to assess and meet their banking needs. Obtain and process customer and account information. Educate clients on deposit and loan products and recommend suitable solutions. Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital offerings. Deliver a consistent, optimal client experience and process basic transactions. Collaborate with branch team members to serve clients effectively. Open new consumer and business accounts and complete service requests, including credit applications. Proactively educate clients on emerging digital products and self‑service technologies. Leverage technologies and resources to optimize client experience and maintain operational excellence and accuracy. Comply with all required licensing and background‑check processes, including National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Core Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum three to four years of retail banking experience or equivalent training. Must obtain and maintain NMLS registration as required. Preferred Skills Proven ability to build and nurture client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up. Strong client engagement and communication skills. In‑depth knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems. Customer‑service orientation and interpersonal skills. Experience demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies. Adept at identifying true customer needs using a digital‑first approach. Basic proficiency in making appropriate recommendations to meet client needs reactively and proactively. Background in the financial services industry preferred.
