Crucial to their mission is an experienced CNC Programmer who has broad experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi-controlled milling equipment and proficiency in Mastercam would ensure success in this position. True 5-axis programming experience is required as opposed to 3+2 positional./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliUtilize Mastercam software to generate complete CNC programs from technical drawings or customer-supplied data files for multi-axis milling machines./liliCollaborate with Planning, Quality, and Production teams to meet shop production goals and optimize machining processes./liliCreate or modify programs as necessary to meet part design requirements, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications./liliGenerate technical drawings or setup documentation from programs for use in shop production and estimating./liliLoad and verify CNC programs on FANUC-controlled and Mitsubishi-controlled milling centers./liliInterpret complex engineering blueprints and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GDT) principles./liliFollow Digital Product Definition (DPD) and quality verification procedures./liliProgram CNC machining for a variety of metals, including aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and Inconel./liliMaintain strict adherence to aerospace and defense quality standards and industry specifications./li/ulh3Experience Requirements/h3ulli10+ years of combined CNC machining and programming experience in a machine shop environment and true 5-axis simultaneous motion programming experience/lili5+ years of hands-on experience with Mastercam or equivalent CAD/CAM software./li/ulh3Knowledge Skills/h3ulliExpertise in programming and operating FANUC and Mitsubishi controls./liliFamiliarity with 3-axis, 4-axis, true 5-axis CNC milling machines, including equipment such as OKK, KITAMURA, and OKUMA./liliStrong blueprint interpretation and program documentation skills./liliExperience with Digital Product Definition (DPD) procedures and verification software./liliIn-depth knowledge of machining a variety of materials, including exotic metals used in aerospace and defense./li/ulh3Example Machines and Equipment/h3ulliCNC Machines: OKK VM Series, KITAMURA HX Series, OKUMA M560-V, SNK Niigata SPN 701./liliControl Systems: FANUC Series 16i-MB, 31i-B, and Mitsubishi controls./liliTravel ranges for machining tasks: Up to 60 inches X-axis, 30 inches Y-axis, and 24 inches Z-axis./li/ulh3Compensation and Benefits/h3ulliCompetitive salary commensurate with experience/liliComprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, PTO/liliOpportunities for professional growth and development within a highly skilled team./li/ul/div
