Klickitat Valley Health is seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team in Goldendale, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity for a technologist who enjoys practicing broad, hands-on imaging in a setting where their work directly impacts patient care every day.

The Imaging Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures that support the diagnosis and treatment of injury and disease. Working closely with physicians and clinical teams, this role helps ensure accurate imaging, patient safety, and compassionate care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. Technologists operate a range of imaging equipment and play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic studies while creating a comfortable experience for patients.

Key responsibilities include performing diagnostic radiographic procedures based on physician orders, operating imaging equipment including fixed radiology equipment, portable X-ray, C-arm, and CT, ensuring accurate patient positioning and image quality, maintaining strict radiation safety standards for patients and staff, preparing and educating patients before procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation, collaborating with physicians and clinical teams to support timely diagnosis, maintaining imaging records and documentation according to department policies, monitoring equipment functionality and assisting with preventative maintenance, maintaining imaging supplies and supporting efficient department operations, and participating in the departments on-call rotation for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED required, graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, Washington State Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist license required, ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist required, ARRT CT certification required, and BLS certification required. Minimum one year of recent clinical experience preferred, new graduates with strong clinical training may also be considered.
