At Vista Care , we believe in delivering the Best Care. As a Part-Time Registered Nurse , you will serve as a clinical leader, educator, and quality champion across our community-based programs-helping those we support live healthy, safe, and independent lives.
What You'll Do

• Clinical Assessment & Baseline Care: Establish normal baseline medical care for individuals served, routinely evaluate physical and behavioral changes, and recommend medication or treatment modifications.
• Staff Mentorship & Training: Teach State-approved medication administration classes to new hires, provide technical assistance to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and mentor staff on quality care.
• Quality & Regulatory Audits: Conduct routine health data reviews in Therap (electronic medical records), track trends, and ensure program compliance with State and Medicaid standards (HCBS, Shared Living, Adult Family Homes, CCS).
• Incident & Safety Oversight: Participate in health-related abuse, neglect, and exploitation (MANE) investigations, outlining clear corrective action plans.
• On-Call Support: Provide emergency triage, guidance, and medical consultation for staff during evenings and weekends as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Education & Licensure: Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice. Graduate of an accredited ASN, BSN, or MSN program.
• Experience:
  
  • Minimum 1 year working in human services (experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, behavioral health, or addiction preferred).
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
• Key Skills:
  
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (experience with Therap is a major plus!).
  • Strong communication, coaching, and emergency triage abilities.
  • Knowledge of state community-based healthcare regulations.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with resident transfers up to 250 lbs using appropriate lifting equipment/mechanics.
