Position Overview:

As an Associate Attorney at Michigan Auto Law, you will play a crucial role in representing our clients, managing cases from inception through resolution. You will work closely with our seasoned attorneys, leveraging their experience to build your skills and achieve outstanding outcomes for our clients.

This position is based from our Grand Rapids office. A hybrid schedule is available but at least 2 days/week in-office is required.

Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in various stages of their auto accident cases, including pre-litigation, litigation, and trial.

- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.

- Engage in settlement negotiations and attend mediations.

- Participate in depositions and court hearings.

- Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies.

- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing updates and guidance throughout the case.

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

- Licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan.

- 1-3 years of experience in personal injury law, preferably auto accident cases.

- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail.
