Magnum is hiring a Freight Handler to support our dock operations. This role is responsible for loading and unloading semi-trailers, moving freight safely, and ensuring shipments are accurate and on time.

As a Freight Handler, you will help ensure freight moves safely and efficiently through our dock.

• Unload freight from incoming semi-trailers on the receiving side of the dock.
• Reload freight into outbound trailers using forklifts and/or hand loading
• Match freight to delivery manifests and confirm correct destinations
• Inspect shipments for damage
• Enter shipment data into the computer system
• Maintain a clean and organized dock area
• Remove broken pallets, sweep trailers, and maintain dock cleanliness
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Freight Handlers work in a warehouse and loading dock environment with concrete floors and loading docks on both sides of the facility. Employees operate equipment such as propane-powered sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, handheld scanners, and warehouse computer systems to move and track freight. The environment is well-lit but includes exposure to warehouse noise and varying temperatures, which may drop to around 45F depending on the season. The role requires regular movement and the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs, as well as a full range of motion necessary for warehouse tasks.
