Unit Builder 2nd

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assembler on the 2nd shift. This role involves assembling units according to dimensional drawings while ensuring adherence to safety requirements and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading and interpreting provided drawings and utilizing various tools to complete the tasks efficiently.

• Perform various tasks per group leader instruction to assemble units.
• Ensure compliance with dimensional drawings, safety requirements, and quality methods.
• Utilize tools such as pneumatic impact, pliers, and wrenches.
• Move around to several workstations as needed.
• Conduct casing and wiring tasks.
• Complete sub-assembly mating.
• Recognize and report errant parts.
• Record completed processes accurately.

• Proficiency in assembly and use of hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings.
• Experience with general labor tasks and using a tape measure.

• Flexibility and adaptability to change.
• Team-oriented mindset and initiative to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
• Excellent attendance and positive attitude.
• Compliance with all assigned PPE requirements.

Work in a large, non-temperature-controlled plant environment. The role requires standing and walking for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively, and stooping. This 2nd shift position is primarily indoors, but may involve assisting with outdoor preparation and packing as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grenada, MS.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grenada, MS.
