About the Role:

The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, order, and a welcoming environment within residential or commercial properties. The Housekeeper will manage various cleaning tasks including floor care, dusting, and waste disposal, while adhering to safety and hygiene protocols. Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to speak, read, and write English to understand instructions and communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated manual dexterity and physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including reaching overhead and floor care.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and time management.
• Basic mathematical skills to accurately measure cleaning agents and maintain supply records.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience in residential or commercial settings.
• Familiarity with environmentally friendly cleaning products and practices.
• Certification in workplace safety or cleaning protocols.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor polishers or vacuum cleaners.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, carpets, and other surfaces using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents.
• Dust, polish, and sanitize furniture, fixtures, and fittings to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Follow detailed oral and written instructions to complete daily cleaning schedules and special requests.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with established guidelines.
• Reach overhead and other difficult areas to ensure comprehensive cleaning coverage.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Perform basic mathematical computations to measure cleaning solutions and track supply usage.
