Our Customer Service Representative will serve as a primary contact and resource person for customer placement of purchase orders, delivery status inquiries, quality issues, pricing information, and any other customer-related issues. Schedule Monday – Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Position Responsibilities Receive input on order requirements via phone, fax, or mail. Review orders for accuracy, pricing, and delivery requirements. Generate initial purchased goods sales order. Submit sales order to scheduling. Coordinate JIT activities with specific customers. Establish economic run quantities on JIT and blanket order items with scheduling, manufacturing, and material services personnel. Maintain customer correspondence (files). Coordinate communication between customers and appropriate Majors personnel. Advise customers of pricing changes via fax, phone, or written notifications. Distribute customer-generated documentation to appropriate Majors personnel. Maintain appropriate aged inventory levels of finished goods as well as their inventory turnover rates. Perform any other duties assigned by management. 1. Requires a minimum of two (2) years of previous experience in customer service or sales.
2. Thorough knowledge of MS Office programs.
3. Degree preferred, but not required.
