Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry – New York

Start Date: September 29, 2026

Location: Rochester, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week contract; Every other weekend required; Holiday availability required (every other holiday); Patient ratio 1:5 to 1:7

Requirements:

• Active New York Single State RN license (must be in-hand prior to submission; pending licenses not accepted; NY is not a Compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; minimum 2 years preferred
• Recent acute care experience within the past 6 months required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy/phlebotomy, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
• Experience with Rapid Response and Code team protocols
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
