Job Summary Bank of America seeks a Customer Advocate to serve as the first point of contact for financial center clients. In this role, you will help uncover personal banking needs of both individual and small business clients, offer appropriate solutions, and connect clients to specialists. You will deepen client relationships through platform services, support clients with self‑service or transactional activities, and provide exceptional client care via outbound calls and follow‑up routines. Responsibilities Partner with teams to provide financial center clients with consumer and small business solutions, services, and strategies when uncovering personal banking needs. Assist, educate, and train clients on conducting simple transactions through self‑service technologies. Leverage available resources, technologies, and processes to optimize the client experience and deliver operational excellence and accuracy. Adhere to established processes, laws, and guidelines in performing day‑to‑day activities such as opening accounts, account maintenance, and digital assisted shopping. Manage client interactions by taking the best course of action for the bank and its clients and abiding by all regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications Minimum of one year of demonstrated sales experience in a relationship‑oriented, client‑centric environment. Enthusiastic, highly motivated self‑starter with a strong work ethic and intense focus on results, acting in the best interest of the client. Collaborative, building and nurturing strong relationships. Passion, commitment, and drive to deliver an experience that improves clients’ financial lives. Confident in identifying solutions for helping new and existing clients based on their needs. Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to engage all clients (in‑person and by phone). Ability to learn and adapt to new information, technology platforms, handle ambiguity, and adapt to changing circumstances. Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Effective time‑management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be a commissioned notary or successfully obtain a notary commission in the state of work within a few months of start date. Must be able to work weekends and/or extended hours, which may include any financial center location within a reasonable distance. Desired Qualifications Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or a related field. Experience working in a financial center where goals were met or exceeded. Retail and/or sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment. Experience with financial information, spreadsheets, and banking products and services. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications and prior experience with laptop technology. Minimum Education Requirement High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent. Shift and Hours 1st Shift (United States of America) Hours per week: 40 Location 88 Bowery, New York, NY (Bank of America) Pay and Incentives Hourly pay range: $25.97 - $31.75, determined by experience, education, and skill set.
