The Optics Electronics department is seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex electronics, including fault isolation and root cause analysis. This role involves working on multi-disciplinary teams to design, develop, test, and integrate advanced EO systems and subsystems. Responsibilities may include analog and digital design, component trade studies, product development, supplier support, production and depot support.What You Will DoTroubleshoot systems failing factory test or fielded hardware, identifying failure cause, documenting, and dispositioning hardware for repairDesign advanced electro-optical solutions for our industry-leading systems that enhance sensing, targeting, and surveillance capabilities, empowering our defense forces with state-of-the-art technology.Perform hands-on lab work in analog and/or digital electronics, including troubleshooting and system integration. Utilize industry-standard CAE tools and EE lab equipment for design, simulation, and testing. Conduct circuit analysis, component selection, and root cause analysis with corrective actions. Document design approaches, test results, and technical issues in a structured and organized manner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support supplier interactions, and contribute to design reviews. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
