Technical Support Engineer

- Education and Experience: A full-time associate’s degree or higher in computer science, communications, or a related field; at least 3 years of network operations and maintenance experience, with in-depth expertise in DNS and load balancing.
- Core Technology Stack: Proficient in the principles of GSLB (Global Load Balancing) and its application in various business scenarios; skilled in the configuration and operation of load balancing devices from leading vendors (such as F5, A10, Citrix, etc.); In-depth understanding of Layer 4–7 load balancing principles.
- Fundamental Networking Knowledge: Solid theoretical foundation in TCP/IP networking; familiarity with routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, etc.) and network security technologies;
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient in using protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark and Tcpdump; capable of troubleshooting, packet analysis, and independently resolving issues in complex network environments.
- Soft Skills: Excellent cross-departmental communication skills and a strong customer service mindset; outstanding technical documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, actionable guidelines. [Bonus Points] Candidates holding CCNP/HCNP or higher-level networking certifications, or F5 201/301 or higher vendor certifications, will be given priority. 1. On-site Operations, Maintenance, and Support: Responsible for providing daily technical support and maintenance for the client’s on-site DNS systems and load balancing equipment; ensuring the stability and high availability of the production environment; and quickly responding to and resolving various technical issues encountered by clients during use.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Responsible for receiving, responding to, and managing the full lifecycle of daily support cases; using methods such as protocol analysis to quickly pinpoint root causes and ensure issues are efficiently resolved; regularly producing monthly service reports to review and summarize system performance.
- Change and Solution Management: Lead or participate in live network changes; responsible for drafting high-quality change proposals, detailed implementation steps, and emergency rollback plans to ensure the security, compliance, and zero-risk of live network operations.
- Documentation and Standardization: Strictly adhere to professional ethics and codes of conduct, maintaining a rigorous work ethic; responsible for building the technical knowledge base, including the drafting and maintenance of operation manuals, configuration guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
