What You Will Be Doing As the Office Assistant 2, you will support the Sitka Public Health Center and the local community by providing customer service, working with medical records and data, collaborating with healthcare providers and off‑site clinics, and handling a variety of administrative responsibilities. Responsibilities Support the Sitka Public Health Center and local community by managing records, data, and customer service; collaborate with healthcare providers and off‑site clinics; perform administrative duties. Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D., completion of basic adult education course, full standing at an accredited college, or 12 years of schooling with supporting experience). Minimum Experience One year of clerical tasks such as greeting clients, answering phones, typing, filing, sorting mail, entering data, receiving payments, making change, or maintaining logs. Substitution Education from an accredited college may substitute for the required experience, based on equivalency calculations.
